Q: Do you have a dedicated space for monitors when they visit?
A: One extra desk space is available in each of the six offices. High-speed internet and a phone line are available. Pre-study and site initiation visits may be held at these locations.

Q: How many monitors can PRC accommodate per day?
A: PRC has room for 5 monitors.
 
Q: Do monitors have access to the internet?
A: High-speed internet is available.

Q: Do monitors have access to a copier?
A: Yes.

Q: Do monitors have access to a fax machine?
A: Yes.

Q: Do you have a kitchen available for monitors?
A: We have a small kitchen with a microwave, a toaster-oven, a refrigerator, and a sink included.

Q: What are your hours of operation?
A: Our business hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Central time. Our research coordinators are on call at all times.. 

Q: Do you have a lab in your office?
A: We have a CLI-waived lab that has full capabilities for processing and packaging lab specimens.  

Q: What equipment do you have in your office?

Q: Do you have a patient database?
A: Yes.

Q: Do you use electronic medical records (EMR)?
A: Yes. We also have access to Sacred Heart Hospital’s EMRs.

Q: How much notice do you require before scheduling monitoring visits?
A: We usually require a monitor to schedule his or her first visit within 2 to 4 weeks of our seeing the first patient.

Q: What airport should monitors use when flying to your facility?
A: Pensacola Regional Airport.
 
Q: How far away is the airport from your research site?
A: 1 mile.

Q: What transportation is available from the airport?
A: The following Hotels have courtesy Transportation:

Crowne Plaza/Pensacola Grand Hotel, Hampton Inn Airport, Homewood Suites, Marriott Grand Hotel at Point Clear, AL, Quality Inn, Ramada Inn Bayview.

Taxi Services provide transportation through the Gulf Coast Area at the following rates:
Airport trip minimum fare: $11.00 or $2.—for the first 1/9 mile, and $0.25 for each additional 1/9 mile.

Q: How accessible is parking to your facility?
A: Free parking is available in the Brent Lane Parking Garage located behind the Medical Mall. To further assist visitors and patients, free valet parking is located in behind the Medical Mall off Brent Lane. The service operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

A: 10 years.

Q: Do you have experience with electronic data capture (EDC)?
A: Yes.

Q: Do you have experience with IVRS?
A: Yes.

Q: Do you have experience with electronic diaries?
A: Yes.

Q: How do you recruit patients for clinical trials?
A: To recruit patients we use a combination of the Sacred Heart Hospital patient database, physician referrals, flyers, posters, and TV, radio, and newspaper ads.

Q: What emergency procedures to you have available on-site?
A: Many of our employees are CPR and/or BLS certified. Furthermore, the ER is located in the adjacent building. We also have access to 911.

Q: Does PRC have a hurricane or emergency preparedness plan?
A: Yes.
